Babylon Remembered

Luz
Sue, Mary Sue. Insane conjuror. The Chosen One. At least, the latest of the Chosen Ones. The previous ones all failed miserably. She can't, cause she's the protagonist. If she does fail, it'll have to be a magnificant failure, at least as magnificant as I can make it by the end of November. It's rather like being the Governor of Varos and hoping the Doctor shows up to save you before you get disintegrated. As it's Satan who's chosen her, perhaps failure is the preferable option.
Mikael
Stu, Gary Stu. Damned seer. Luz's husband. Until death parted them. But he still takes an interest. Visits her in her dreams, sends signs and warnings, all that.
Connor
Their son. 5 years old the last time she saw him.
Elsa
Their daughter. 3 1/2 years old the last time she saw her.
The Nameless, aka the Dragon, aka the Architect of Damnation
Nameless demon. Probably actually Satan.
Baphomet
Lord of the City. Fallen saint. (Baphomet wasn't his original name.) Now a demon.
Baal-zebul
Lord of Hell. Demon. Of course.
Captain Helike
Spymaster and corrupter. Demon working for the Citadel. Department of Instruction.
Ms. Cardboard Damsel in Distress
Convenient person to be rescued by Luz and to set things in motion again after the long delay. I'm not sure who she is yet. She's been living out in the wastelands, but why? She's a Rat. Babbling (Babylon) Rat. One of the recruiter/scavengers for the Underground.
Some-angel-whose-name-I-haven't-decided-on-yet
The one who mopes about outside Wormwood Abbey. Probably the angel who turned the waters to wormwood. Meets Luz.
